Choke
The choke is a point on a map, where enemies are most likely or even forced to move through.
Cooldown
Cooldown means the time between rechargeable uses.
Crosshair
The crosshair is the dot in the middle of your screen, which helps you see where you're aiming.
Crowdcontrol
Crowdcontrol or CC for short refers to the ability to disable. I.e hinder movement, ability usage etc.
Field of View
FOV means field of view. It's everything the player can see.
Flanker
A flanker is someone, who is playing from the flank, being the side or the back of a formation, angle etc.
Flick
A flick is a wrist-based aiming technique that is a very fast but inaccurate way to shift your aim.

Frames per second (FPS) describes how many pictures per second are shown to you.

The frontline is the first contact point with the enemies. It is the opposite to the Backline

Peeking means going into and out of cover in rapid succession.

Peeling is support, directed towards supporters.
Pick
A pick is a kill that creates a favourable ratio of allied players to enemy players.
Pocketing
Pocketing means focusing all your resources onto one teammate.
Poke
Poking means gradually damaging the enemy. It is the opposite to burst.

Projectile describes a type of shot where there is a projectile that needs to be considered when aiming.
Scrim
A scrim is a practice match between two teams.
Sound Barrier
Sound barrier or beat is Lucios ultimate, giving all his teammates around him a huge amount of overheal that rapidly decays.
Strafe
Strafing means walking in a horizontal movement in order to make hitting shots for the enemy harder.
Survivability
This term refers to the ability to survive.
Sustain
Sustain is a resource that is necessary for sustaining a fight. An unsustainable fight is lost earlier or later.
